FIRST FRIDAY: Join PAAC on May 7th from 5:30-8:30pm at First Friday (presented by Downtown Perrysburg, Inc.) for artistic fun for the whole family! In addition to presenting Children's Art Activities and Exhibit, PAAC has partnered with Imagination Station to offer exciting Science activities as well (this month: learn how to make Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream!). Free. More Info

FIBER ART WORKSHOPS: Register today for classes on Nuno Felting, Card Weaving, Coiled Fiber Jewelry and Screenprinting Techniques on Fabric. All classes will be held on June 25th-26th at The 577 Foundation in Perrysburg. Remember to add the Fiber Art Show (June 5th-6th) to your calendar as well!   More Info

MIDSUMMER ARTFEST: We are currently accepting artisan applications for our new arts festival at the RiverPlace Shoppes on July 10th. MidSummer Artfest will be held during the day while the evening will offer live musical entertainment at Rockin' at Riverplace. More Info

HARBORTOWN PLACE BOAT SHOW: PAAC will be offering children's art activities (sponsored by F&M Bank)  at the May 22nd Boat Show at HarborTown Place (located just south of Perrysburg on Rt25 - look for the lighthouse!).

PLAY READERS GROUP: The last Play Readers meeting of the 2009-2010 season will be held May 17th, 7pm at the Way Public Library. This month's reading is: Rumors, by Neil Simon. No reservations required, pick up the play from the library check out counter. Feel free to get advanced copies of the play prior to the reading.

COMMUNITY THEATRE: Thanks who everyone who attended our interest meeting on the new Perrysburg Musical Theatre! We are very excited about this new program. If you weren't able to attend, please contact our office and we will add you to the list. More Info  

YOUTH SUMMER THEATER: Applications are currently being accepted for Youth Summer Theater - Drama program only. The Musical program is already full but we can add you to the waiting list.  More Info

HARRISON RALLY DAY: We still accepting artists applications for the Rally for the Arts at Harrison Rally Day (September 18th, 2010). The application deadline is August 1st (apply by June 1st to receive an early bird discount). More Info

Call for Youth Art!

Attention all young artists! The Perrysburg Area Arts Council is now accepting entries of artwork created by local students through high school age. Art will be exhibited in a community art show during First Fridays in downtown Perrysburg (May-October). Prizes will be awarded and selected pieces will be displayed in various public locations throughout the summer. More info
