FIBER ART SHOW:
PAAC is pleased to present the 3rd Annual Fiber Art Show at The 577
Foundation on June 5th and 6th, 2010. This juried art exhibit showcases
innovative uses of fiber media from a wide variety of talented artists.
Over 70 pieces of art are included! This free two-day show also offers
live musical entertainment, children’s art activities, artisan
demonstrations of all kinds, live animal exhibits and much more. More

FIRST FRIDAY:
Join PAAC on June 4th from 5:30-8:30pm at First Friday (presented by
Downtown Perrysburg, Inc.) for artistic fun for the whole family! In
addition to presenting Children's Art Activities and Exhibit, PAAC has
partnered with Imagination Station to offer exciting Science activities
as well (this month features Fossil Fun and the Big Dig). Free. More

GREEN ART CAMP: We are currently accepting
applications for Green Art Camp at The 577 Foundation, June 14th-18th
(ages 8 and up). The theme this year will be "Solar Energy". Activities
will include making fun solar prints with light-sensitive paper,
creating a working sundial from mixed-media materials and building a
solar-powered bug. Download

As part of our "Focus on Fiber" for the month of
June, our public exhibit venues will dedicated to the diverse art of
fiber. Many pieces from the Fiber Art Show at The 577 Foundation will be
on extended public display until the end of June at the Perrysburg
Municipal Building and the Perrysburg Municipal Courthouse. Sculptural
pieces will be displayed in the Way Library. More

on Fiber: Breaking Traditions Art Quilts
June 2010: Way Gallery (Way Library,

The Way Gallery will also feature the 2009 Breaking
Traditions exhibit through June. Curated by Michigan artist Lynn
Krawczyk, this exhibit features 84 art quilts honoring the qualities and
special moments that define what a home means. More

today for classes on Nuno Felting, Card Weaving, Coiled Fiber
Jewelry and Screenprinting Techniques on Fabric. All classes will be held
on June 25th-26th at The 577 Foundation in Perrysburg. Remember to add

MIDSUMMER ARTFEST:
We are currently accepting artisan applications for our new arts
festival at the RiverPlace Shoppes on July 10th. MidSummer Artfest will
be held during the day while the evening will offer live musical
entertainment at Rockin' at Riverplace. More

still accepting artists applications for the Rally for the Arts at
Harrison Rally Day (September 18th, 2010). The application deadline is

opportunities:
