Bus Trip To Chicago
We're putting the fun in fund-raising!!!
Stretch your holiday shopping dollar by supporting the P.A.A.C. and enjoying November 22 as a day of holiday shopping, dining, or shows in Chicago for $50.00!

The PAAC is chartering a Lakefront Line Bus to spend November 22 shopping, dining, or touring the area galleries and museums. The cost is 50.00 per person, round trip. Deadline for registration is October 20 . The bus will arrive in Chicago at 9:45 a.m. on the Magnificent Mile for a day filled with shopping at such stroes as: Bloomingdale's, American Girl, and Saks Fifth Avenue to name a few. Museums include the Chicago Institute of Art, Shedd Aquarium, The Field Museum, Hancock Observatory, and more restaurants than we can name. A free trolley will be available for transportation on Michigan Ave. and State Street.

For more than 40 years, the trees along North Michigan Avenue have been illuminated to signal the official start of the holiday season. Witness the spectacular lighting of more than one million lights along North Michigan Avenue from Oak Street to Wacker Drive, culminating in a magnificent fireworks show over the Chicago River. After you enjoy the day's activities, return to The Magnificent Mile district again and again throughout the season to create your own holiday memories!

6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. Procession. Mickey Mouse, as master of ceremonies, leads the illumination of more than one million lights in The Magnificent Mile district to officially start the holiday season in Chicago! North Michigan Avenue, from Oak Street to Wacker Drive

6:52 p.m. Experience the spectacular ABC 7 Chicago fireworks display over the Chicago River as the grand finalé to this holiday event! North Michigan Avenue and the Chicago River

7:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Get a head start on your holiday shopping with extended shopping hours at participating Magnificent Mile stores! Consider dining downtown or staying at one of the many magnificent hotels. The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival presented by Harris will air live on ABC-TV. Check your local listings!


Call for Perrysburg Artists
Juried exhibit in the Community Gallery in the Toledo Museum of Art

The Perrysburg Area Arts Council is celebrating it's 20th year with an exhibit highlighting the many accomplished artists who live in Perrysburg. This exhibit runs from March 27- May 10 in the Toledo Museum Of Art Community Gallery. Submission deadline is December 5, 2008. Notification will be January 30, 2009. Application download
